Turkey launched the ATAK program in 1995 for the procurement of an attack and tactical reconnaissance helicopter to meet the demanding requirements of the Turkish Army.
T129 is the result of the integration of nationally developed avionics and weapon systems on to the combat proven AgustaWestland A129 airframe, with upgraded engines, transmission and rotor blades. Optimized for “hot & high” environments, T129 is the most efficient Attack Helicopter in its class.
The project is realized with Green Hills Software's Integrity-178B RTOS and all system tests are successfully done by VectorCAST.
